Life through a lens

My journey with photography began in childhood with a Monster Munch plastic camera, capturing my first wedding (my aunt's) at the age of six.  Granted, I only managed to capture people from the neck down but hey, I was only 6!

After extensive travels and working as a marine conservationist in Madagascar, I found myself in a corporate finance role that didn't resonate with me. Eventually, I embraced my true calling and became a full-time photographer—a decision that has brought me immense happiness.

Random facts about me...

The Blue Peter Green Book

I have worked in Honduras, Madagascar and Indonesia as a marine conservationist and have been an advocate of conservation since I first read the Blue Peter Green book as a child.

I was a PADI scuba-diving instructor in Thailand after taking my instructor training in New Zealand.  I love wakeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking and sailing.

I’m ginger, but I can still take photos in the sunshine… I always keep a bottle of factor 50 handy!

I am Dad to Lily, an energetic little Cocker Spanie, Fern, a cuddly and wild Springer Spaniel, and Tinks, a bubbly little Cairn Terrier!

You could say I was born for this - when I was 12 years old I was a choir boy in the classic film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'!
