Firstly, many congratulations!
You and your partner are soon going to enjoy one of the happiest and most memorable days of your lives.
Capturing memories of your special day in an authentic and natural way would be my absolute privilege.
I am a documentary wedding photographer, which means you’ll have a treasure trove of images full of real, human emotion, un-posed joy, laughter, silliness, and whatever else you and your guests bring!
Every wedding I do is bespoke - my goal is to tell your love story with pictures! I love seeing how you design the day so it’s really you. I’ll make sure all the details are documented so you can laugh one day about how stressful it was picking centre pieces, all the important people that came to support you, and that look you gave your husband when he gushed over you in his speech.
I only take on a limited number of weddings a year so I can find out what’s important to you and give you the best service I possibly can. I will visit the venue at least once before the big day and would love to chat with you in person or over the phone as much as you would like so I get to know you in advance so I’m best placed to bring out your best side on the day.
On the day
Whether I’m capturing those fun and nervous moments whilst you get ready, or I’m meeting you at the ceremony, I’ll be there early and I won’t leave until it’s time to put the camera down.
I’m often told how I blend in so well guests will think we’ve been friends for years! This, with my warm and friendly nature, allows you and your guests to feel comfortable and happy in front of the camera. It's a characteristic that I'm very proud of and results in authentic, not staged photos!
After the day
I know from experience that you’ll want your first image out to the World to be a good one, not someone’s blurry iPhone picture, so the very next day, I will send you a stand-out image, fully edited, which you can then share on Socials yourself.
Within 8 weeks of the wedding day (usually sooner), I will provide all edited, high resolution images to you via a secure online gallery. You can then share this with friends and family, order professionally printed images, and start picking your favourites for a personalised quick access ‘app’ I will send you.
I think there’s something really nostalgic and tactile about having a physical wedding album, and I love designing them. I have designed everything from the traditional, hand-bound fine art album to a modern, magazine style coffee table album. Albums are optional but if you would like one or even duplicates (they make great presents for parents), I will discuss options with you once you have seen the images.
